Official opening of Selgros Retail Park in Lubin

On March 13 held the official opening of the Selgros Retail park in Lubin, which was created as a result of the modernization of the existing hall of the former Auchan.

The task was difficult because the over 20-year-old hall had been abandoned since September 2020, with only part of it used as storage space. As a result, the facility was deteriorating and the area around it was not being used properly.

Therefore the investor took the bold decision to modernize the entire facility with the aim of turning it into a modern Selgros retail park. Currently, the facility is already open to customers, along with Selgros Cash&Carry chain store, DIY store and a fitness club.

Our company acted as the Investor's Represetative in this investment from the initial stage of this project. In the initial stage, we undertook the assessment of all elements of the hall's structure, along with estimating the necessary demolition and repair work on permanent elements and installations in order to adapt them to the current technical conditions in construction, along with quality supervision of these works. Next, we performed project supervision and conducted tenders for contractors for individual work packages.

The next step was the coordination of demolition works carried out by external companies based on ordered work packages; representing the Investor, construction management, investor supervision of all industries; solving all technical and design problems; participation in acceptance and final acceptance.
